Survived my first day of my new job. Took this photo on my way to work at 7. My commute is 15 minutes of this scenery vs the 45 minutes of gridlock I used to deal with. I think I can get used to this...

Yes. I got sick of the idiots more than the slow traffic flow. Having to daily be on the lookout for people cutting off merges at the last second, passing on the shoulder and turning left from straight only lanes was really getting to me. Living in the middle of nowhere has some drawbacks but the drive is much better.

I’ve ndver had a gird lock commute and I’m Very okay with that. My 15 minute, 12 mike commute is the jam.

I was just back there visiting friends/family last week . Got to drive the fun roads again, holy crap i miss good driving roads.
